A dusting of snow. A hard freeze. Fifteen MPH winds. I wonder if any of my perennials and tender shrubs will survive.

Got down to zero and my tulips were up about 4 inches (a couple weeks ago)! They are still fighting to survive but I believe they will. None of the more than 200 bulbs I planted last fall have even started poking their little green shoots through the frozen tundra. But my vinca looks as amazing as ever and the grass has some green in it. Still lots of frozen ice patches on the lawn and in the shady spots but I am more worried about flooding now than anything!
Hope it all survives! And hope you don’t get too much flooding.
